I wonder if this effect scales with chronological age?
That is, I wonder if subjects over, say, age 30 should have a smaller max interval or greater? Very interesting.

A friend rides dirt bikes every weekend,yet he rides on quad trails and never stresses himself,then he comes here where we have "real"trails and hes gasping for air in 10 minutes. Doesnt comprehend momentum and the need to even be able to stand up and ride it like a dirtbike.
I guess there's differences in getting the body and mind ready for a hard dirt ride or Adventure ride. If you never push any limits you dont get much better/stronger. Just riding down a dirt/gravel road is no big deal,but doing it for a week straight at a good clip will wear you down if your out of practice.
