Funny the derisive questioning of someone's interest. WTF does anyone know about other's posting, and do the uppity posters actually hold such a lofty position to question? Funny site, if not some KTM-envy blowhard then some other blowhard lecturing someone...guys all over this site use race bikes for ADV travel, so what, not the right brand...?

Honda has already done it, competitors in Dakar in the top positions, right from the start. When Honda gets the riders in line, domination may follow.
I'm guessing English is not your first language, so you can be forgiven for the grammatical errors, but seriously, KTM trolls have been done so many times before and it just isn't funny anymore.

If you do get a bite, it will just be from somebody who is bored, or sees an easy opportunity to make a n00b look like an complete idiot.

Half the time the people who will reply don't own a KTM.

So please, do everyone a favor, and just give it away now.

Oh and I do think it's good that you can post in a forum that is predominantly using a language that isn't your native one, it is more than most of us can do, but please use your talent for decent posts, and not mindless dribble.

Thanks.

And fill out your profile please.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand one more objective thread on here

geeze guys

instead of praising honda for getting back in the dakar game after a very long haitus, and having close to 20 bikes actually finish the race, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand riders in the top 10 on a "new" rally bike that yes in typical honda fashin is over priced NOW....

we decide to go the childish route of japanese sucks euro is king whatever...

folks this is so lame it defies logic...its like being stupid an negative gets praised and being objective and respectful is something grandpa is only supposed to do.............

geeze give it a rest!

enjoy the bike, whatever bike it is and enjoy the SPORT!

who gives a ratsaas what BEEK the rally crf450 is using....seriously???????????

I need one like that, but can you build mine around the TRX 700 ATV motor?

Are my eyes deceiving me or have you just shown me there a 700cc, electric start version of the motor from the XR650R? How did I not know about this and why can't we buy it in a motorcycle package???

I avoid the quad people.
Seriously though, I would thought I would have seen where someone had slipped one of these in a 650R chassis.

It has a weird gearbox tumor looking thing where the sprocket should go. I've been eyeing those engines on ebay for a ground up full custom bike build. Might be able to swap cases around with the 650R and get something to work, on the other hand reverse burnouts on a dirt bike is one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

There are also 727cc kits for that engine.

And 53 hp at the crank in semi-mild 10:1 compression quad tuned engine, lots of guys running with more than that at the wheels with not a lot of $$$ in the engine.

BUT before someone goes nuts and buys a wrecked 700XX for the engine to put in their RR the center chain drive on the quad is a bit of a obstacle to overcome:
