Rattling cams?

I recently put Gladius cams in my new Vstrom and noticed that it rattles a bit around 7000 rpms. I'm kinda concerned since it means something is loose or not quite right.

I check and the gladius uses the same single springs as the new Vstrom does. Maybe the cam timing is different?

Just don't want to grenade my motor.

Did you check the valve clearances with the new cams?

Yep, within specs, not checked since around last fall.

I suppose I better check again.

Thought about that. I have been using 89 octane. I can try some 91 octane this next tank. CR is 11.2 to 1.
