Your crotch always gets wet

No matter how much rain gear you wear, if you travel long enough and fast enough, your crotch gets wet. I did not clear the rain until I got East of Raleigh.

Here is a link to some pics I took.

I will post a more complete ride report later.

It is always interesting to see who shows up to these events. It was great to see you guys again. Great that Mike and his son were able to spend some time with us.

Tried to replug it but I have a feeling the tool that is used to install the plug rope wound up in XT's kit or he may have thrown it away.
I called the wife and she brought the truck and I finished the last 8 miles in a heated truck with the Versys in the back. Still a great trip and good time.
Got home to good ole' Goshen Oh about 3:15. Left J Beem around London and put my ears back ran about 80 most of the rest of the way home. Yep, the "inserter" is in my tool kit -- because it came out of my tool kit -- JBeem you didn't have one in yours -- sorry that you spit the plug though but glad you were near home and your wife could rescue you.

Good Rally -- even including the weather

So with the lack of photos, I'll assume that Trixie never showed up, huh?

Made it to Macon Sunday no problems - other than the cold & rain. Jimbo, not five minutes after you and your Dad turned around from the accident, the second tow truck arrived and the trooper started our line moving through first. Steady cold rain through Athens, GA. Nathan from Boxerworks was at my gas stop just south of the Loop and came over to look at the ST and introduce himself. Out of the rain soon after that stop and suddenly warmer by Madison. Then in Macon during dinner at my sister's we had a thunderstorm hit with good size hail. Of course, the bike was out in the open, but no damage.

Left Macon yesterday in cool rain and fog. Started to dry up down around Cochran/Eastman. Then warm and sunny from south GA on home. Got in about 5:30PM yesterday.

No pictures other than Paul's roommate, so nothing to post.

Had a great time. Good to see everyone again and meet a few new folks.

I didn't take many pictures because of the rain, but here are a few from the Meltdown.

My ride and _anatic's ride.

My home for the weekend.

That's it, except for this one that I shot with my phone ...

and a couple more of my hammock.

I'm glad that y'all enjoyed the apple pie. I my have some at the RDV in a few weeks.

Chris

Chris, would that be the crusty kind with a flakey crust? Or the liquid consumable kind typically found in a jar?

Booj, there were a lot of flakes there, but not in the apple pie.
