Wow... A bonnie with a fancy paint job...

I didn't know paint would cause the need to add the "SE".

If that is it... I'll be disappointed.

That's it? That's all?

A seven page thread, speculating about a new paint scheme.

Woop tee doo!

No, the new SE has nothing to do with the Street Tracker concept that they are working on.

Check out Richard Pollack's "Mule Motorcyles" website if you want to see a real Triumph Street Tracker, among others.

Tell that to the guys running them on the Grand National Mile tracks, they can be made to go pretty fast.
(still kinda heavy I admit)

I think we're actually talking about two different concepts, the weekend canyon roadster vs some version of a "tracker".

The term "street tracker" seems to be oriented to some posing effort based on dirt tracking... completely inappropriate for street riding... not many left who don't want or use front brakes.

The SE-R concept I'd like to see includes upgraded brakes with duel disks up front (with ABS optional), upgraded suspension components, and a six speed tranny. I wouldn't have a bike without a tach.

Given the original photo of the concept bike, I'd say the "SE-R" title is better suited to the bike than "street tracker".

I was just stirring the pot a little!

Here's one of the test mules that's been seen around, and was posted by Tripl Nikl earlier...

That with a mono shock (why put on modern forks to have crappy dual shocks). Keep it 800cc twin but a lot more performance than the current twin. And make it light, light, light.
