Gentlemen, I have a 2004 GS1150ADV w/86k on her. This is the first time I've had to do anything beyond the 6k services. Replaced the starter, battery and now the 90 degree crossunder fuel line/connector.
The question is, how do you get those freaking little clamps apart? I'm making the fuel line longer so need to remove the existing line from the fuel tank and then install the new line and the new connector.

Too far, I'd sure give you some fuel injection clamps. Got LOTS, Beemer Boneyard sent me the wrong ones as part of my order of lines & quick disconnects. Quick note to them and an hour later a reply that the smaller ones I needed for vent lines are on the way.
No need to return the larger ones. Only $3.xx something for a few of them. 6-8?? And if you go there don't forget our 10% ADV discount.![]() I already had LOTS of the 13-15mm and straight 13mm and others in std. sizes, easily available at autoparts or hydraulic shops. ![]() Oetlikers....BMW OEM....cut them off, they are just a pita if you have to deal with them on the side of the road.
