Serious request for assistance in Enterprise, Oregon area
***** UPDATE, SUBJECT HAS BEEN LOCATED, THANKS FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE ***** Hey all, I am in need of some assistance from people in the Enterprise, Oregon area....not sure how many here are actually out there, but I thought I would try. My 69-year-old father-in-law went missing yesterday about 2 pm after what was supposed to be a simple trip into town. He even left his cell phone at home as it was going to be a quick errand. No recent depression issues, although that is a concern. No known weapons (his handgun was found at home). I spoke with the police out there and there is a BOLO/ATL for him and they are thinking he may have gone for a drive and got stuck somewhere in snow. Or there may have been a medical issue, but his medical issues are physical, not mental health related. Anyway, long shot I know, but if you live out in the Enterprise area, or know someone who does, maybe ask them to look around town or maybe along that road that someone might have traveled thinking it was clear of snow to take in the view...he was known to do this. His car is a light blue 2008 Ford Taurus Wagon. Like this photo, only it's light blue in color. Plate is Oregon 244EPV Obviously, if you see it, or did see it, please call the police. If you actually live out there and need more details, send me a PM Thanks for looking. OC

Damn Paul, sorry to hear this, hopefully he is just stuck in the snow and someone will find him today.
I don't care much for spacebook, but did ya try that? it might get the word out to a few more. Prayers and positive thoughts sent to you and Laura.

Wallowa would be all over this but he is out in the woods volunteering the dog sled races this weekend starting yesterday . That event will bring more people into the area so that may help.
PM sent

Thanks all.
No news yet. There is a full blown SAR going on looking for his car. Very out of character for him for anything like this. Of course, in my line of work, I assume the worst but hope for the best. Anyone with any information should call the local authorities and not me. I will update this thread if anything changes. There is stuff on facebook that my mother-in-law posted. Sounds like Bryan from the Log House RV in Enterprise is spreading the word and searching the area, thanks Fishy for giving him the heads up. Thanks again.

Hey Paul, Positive thoughts headed your way. I'm pulling for a good outcome and that your father in law will have a great Adventure story. I put your message out on my Facebook and have friends in that neck of the woods.
