which studs?

Thinking ahead for next winter, which studs did you use, do you have the install gun for the non threaded type and how did they hold up?
I was thinking of studding a set of trials tires and mounting em on the gasgas. Theres no problem with using a tube is there?
thanks

Next year? This year isn't over.
We have 18" of the best ice we've had all year. You can ride everywhere on the lake!

Long but over down here. I got a set of used Fourniers from kijiji for mine this year. I also got a change to try a couple of bikes with George jones tires on them. There is also a guy in Sarnia area that builds them. Or you can try it yourself. Personally. I'm buying a new set of Fourniers for next year and maybe try rebuilding the set for the mini mini bike. I got royal distributing studs for that one and just sat down with my impact gun and gaver hell one night. It worked fine for anyone just learning ride or anyone not into leaning them over. But I proved you can crash a mini mini bike too

The difference between the studs was night and day, and I don't have the skillz to push the limits. I also put the mini bike down. I had to earn a membership into some group...
