Show us your hack lights

Similar to Greg's post about GS lights, but specifically what have you done to increase the conspicuity of your hack or to throw more light downrange?

Since this photo was taken I've added Krista light to the GS and while I really like them, I worry that the single halogen lamp built into the front of the hack might burn out and make the hack and its precious passenger less visible in some situations.

I'm thinking of adding a front bumper to the hack while Claude has it, and that would be a great oppty to add lighting as well.

please have claude mount that bar... you need more light coming from the sidecar
SEEING and BEING SEEN are the most important things... not that you didn't know that

As you know, the sidecar is in the process of being moved over to my new GSA and I still have the GS up here in Vermont with me. The GSA has OEM foglights and I'm seriously thinking of transferring the Kristas to the sidecar.

I just have to be careful with the position. Too high and they'd block the Hannigan light...and reflect light from the sidecar bulb up into my peripheral vision.

I DO like the Kristas a lot!

Having BIG lights on the car, like Greg does, gives oncoming traffic a much better perspective of how wide you really are.
Especially with the width of the M72DX.
Total width is nearly 80".

The Clearwater Lights are more than a "get noticed" light.
They throw light everywhere for good driving.

It shouldn't be hard for Claude to rig up a light bar at the correct height to accommodate the lights.
Give him a call.

Just the stock headlamp and sidecar sidelamp on both my Urals.

I only use my lights at night and can see where I`m going just fine with the stock ones.

This is how the Charnwood Royale looks. The lights are built into the side of the sidecar - the top one is dip, the lower main beam. The ugly sod eating a packet of cripsp is me!

PIAA 510's with the PIAA ATV mounts....under $300 for the whole setup if you shop around.. The harness is split and long enough to separate the lights and use different positions on the bumper....like one in front and one on the side by the step. I have the same lights on my GS.

This is something I plan to do this winter to my rig.After I fix my electical problem On the sidecar.Lost brake &blinkers on the right side.But seeing what is being used helps me decide what to use.I'm all stock right now,I need more light to the right...This thread I'll be watching....Good Thread

And this is how Merlin sidecars do it - that light is a Ford Ka headlight. There is a bright sidelight and a main beam only as the light is only adjustable to a small degree.
Sorry the picture is so big - I haven't a clue how to re-size them!
