FWIW, Jupiter's Travels is pretty good by Ted Simon. His other ones are decent too..he's a reflective cat at times. His blog in engaging too.

Jupiter's Travels, Enjoyed that book greatly. Easy to read, page turner.
Read the second one, which I believe was "out takes" from the first, wasn't as good. Been meaning to get the third. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Enjoyed the heck out of that one too. Deeper, heavier, but unlike anything else I've read. (Think "Catcher in the Rye"). |

A good ADV book? Obsessions Die Hard; author Ed Culberson actually crossed the Darien jungle with a motorcycle. Notice, I don't say "on" a motorcycle; the bike rested as cargo aboard many native canoes for much of the journey.
