Had the rear Angel ST replaced with an Angel GT. Very nice rubber. Had the front wheel go light under hard acceleration - so plenty of grip..

New Trophy

Well I made the move I traded my 800XC for a 2013 Triumph Trophy, it has everything on it but the tank bag! I rode it 400 miles last weekend what a machine! Very road worthy! I will try to post pictures later we are going to ride it to Arkansas this weekend!

Congrats ! I also traded my 800XC for the Trophy. It's a much better fit for me and the type of riding I do.

Enjoy yours

I kept my 800xc and got the Trophy =) I couldnt bear to part with it just quite yet (I do have to get rid of the Buell and FXR though)

Two years ago I had three bikes totally six cylinders. Now I will have two bikes totally six cylinders.

Our Yamaha dealer just added Triumph to their lineup. I saw the Trophy and was immediately drawn to it like a moth to flame. Now, I can't get it off my mind.

Just put another 1500+ miles on the trophy this weekend and still absolutely love this bike. I'm up to 6500 miles on mine and my only wish is to ride it more. I wish I could ride to work.

Just had 2 glitches - heated grip display and intermittent screen behaviour - both sorted by software update.

Still waiting for stock of the Remus Carbon can. Yummy..

(Granted.....its a really specific complaint)

At the same time, I love how fast the 1200 motor is.
I don't think that's specific. I know exactly what you mean. It's very annoying to shift constantly in city traffic. Haven't ridden a tiger but that sounds very nice.

Maybe they need the dual clutch tranny from Hondas VFR line.....

I've gotten a bit more used to it. To be fair, now that I'm approaching 1000 miles, I feel like its broken in a bit better and smoother at 30 in first gear.

All and all, after a month with it I'm still loving it minus a couple of minor complaints (some valid and some not). At 45 degrees this morning, I was wishing I had sprung for the heated grips too....I might need to order me some of those =D

I've got heated grips on my GSA and haven't found them that useful. It's not the inside of my hand that gets cold, but the outside. Heated gloves are a better solution in my opinion.

I had the stock Pirelli Angel STs replaced with Michelin PR3s. For mostly flat Florida roads, I got 8500 miles out of the STs.

Oh, and just about to turn over 10000 miles since 5.18.13
