After riding three and a half days since getting the Trophy, I got home last night with 1122 miles on the clock.

The more I ride it, the more I love this bike

It's one impressive bike boys. The test bike i had out was fitted with Pirelli Angel GT tyres (i think). Very good tyre.

Those Pirelli Angels are standard on the bikes here in the US market. So far, so good.

The handling of the bike is amazing. Not one regret selling the FJR so far.

I have a 2012 PP Multi. You are right............ the rear brake SUCKS! I even did the warranty fix. Still terrible. Im glad i can afford multiple bikes. Depends on the ride for what I choose.

Given i've got a 2012 Multi, i was expecting a barge, but i was well impressed with how nimble the bike felt around town. Sure, it's got mass - but it's all in the right place.
Brakes are superb. The rear works ace. A novelty for a multi rider..
Fuelling and driveline is lush. Totally unlike the POS K16 i had for a couple of hours. That was nasty. The Triumph is wonderful..
Things i didn't quite like - the SE pack is a waste of money.
I know you guys on that side of the pond don't get any choice, but the audio was poor in gusty wind and i can live with the bike as a solo/ sport mount, so no need for Elec Sussies. (Same as my Multi).

All in all, a damn fine steed. Piss easy to get into 3 figure speeds though..

Radar detector might be a must..

I'm just hoping the Trophy doesn't come in black for '14. I may not be able to resist...

I'd completely forgotten about those shots. I reckon either a nice gloss black or a claret red.

When I bought my Tiger 1200 I was originally going for one of Pidcocks special white paint jobs. Then I saw the black with the pearlescent paint and went for that instead.
The Trophy would look great in that colour. Then if they can just line up the luggage with the exhaust I would consider one!

I read you had an FJR. So did I, an 07 ABS. I found it to be lacking in anything other than a Highway/Freeway appliance. Fast, smooth, top heavy, not a commuter in the short around town errand-business mode, small hard bags and a really hard on the wrist throttle. I sold it after putting less than 5000 miles on it.

I really researched the bike. Read all the reviews, joined the forum, found a great deal on a used one. Bought it and -NO JOY.

I know there were "fixes" but it did not touch my riders soul.

I traded it straight up for a new Bonnie mag wheel. JOY but not an LD touring bike.

The Trophy has caught my eye. But I may be stuck in old school-new tech nostalgia and joy, I love the Bonnie.

Convince me.

The one i rode had the bags removed. It looked quite nice. I only need a top box for my needs anyway..

So you wouldn't consider buying a bike, regardless of all the other features and attributes, simply because the luggage doesn't line up with the exhaust...

I get the dislike of the somewhat misaligned bags. But damn, the Trophy makes up for it in so many more ways !
