Interview went pretty well. Both the hosts are involved with NORRA. I was a little nervous but think it went pretty well. I even remembered to mention some of our sponsors.

Oh and here is the custom top clamp and scotts dampner on the yamaha.

I will get a pic of the new pipe tomorrow if I remember.

I was talking about the Facebook group here:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/368019269916998/

If we both try to remember to get more pics and vids, maybe one of us will remember! When you're in the zone though.....

Tomorrow will be productive ;)

Honzirra almost leady! Blue Rhino Chase Suburban almost ready! Blue Yamaha looks AWESOME!

Wish I could go down there for the race and annoy you guys.

It actually sounds meaner, yet more refined....and less in your ear while riding it. Gave me little goosebumps. I hope someone gets some good video with decent sound of it getting wrung out on the dry lakebed!

Please, please, please re-edit that video and replace the song with something like Tempting Time by Animals as Leaders.

Tempting Time is more realistic to the pace and precision chaos that the build embodied.

Just a humble suggestion.

In case anyone is wondering Danny, aka, apocaloptimist1 is helping me with the mods to honzilla. He helped me last year too. He has been a great help to me with these projects.

Right on Guys!

Wish I could make it down there this year, but I'll be watching the action from afar and sending positive vibes in your direction! Looking like it's going to be a blast!

We had a local upholsterer do the seat for Honzilla and it was less than stellar.

Danny convinced me to try to do the foam ourselves. So we bought some foam and made our own "foam cutter".

So with an old hacksaw blade, a car battery, jumper cables, battery charger and a bucket of salt water we were in business.

The results

And now for the secret to our "kick ass" seat....

Yup, you arent seeing things, those are el cheapo walmart gel insoles. We are gellin now man. Not sure if will make a difference but after a few beers it seemed like a great idea.

Will take the seat to have it covered on monday. Was thinking some sort of cheetah print, but we will see......

Question Moving right along

Pretty cool deal with the interview, wish we had been in town to catch that. Glad to hear the cudos for Danny (nerd, genius)... we are real happy to have his input and help too. I heard last night Owen broke his wrist, Bret's shoulder is trashed.... so everyone needs to try not to brake a leg before the race
What do you need help with? Alan did you find another room in Cabo, will we have shirts for this race? Who has shirts from last race? I was thinking about ordering some steeekers. WAZ Up?
