Sony Experia Z - Waterproof iphone replacement?

Finally looks like there is going to be an alternative to iPhone that is also waterproof

Anyone think this is going to be good for MC use as a gps/camera etc.

i've been using an xperia acro S for a while now and been happy to leave it in the map portion of the tank bank when it's sluicing down. Just have to remember to make sure the rubber bungs are seated in all of the holes and not to take them out if it's dusty.

iPhone 6?

I am hoping Apple gets wise and makes the iPhone 6 fully ruggedized and waterproof. The list of waterproof smartphones is growing beyond the Experia Z (which looks great)
- Kyocera Hydra
- Samsung Galaxy Xcover2
- Panasonic Eluga
- Babiken Rock V5 (never heard of them???)
- Casio G'zOne Commando C771
- Motorola Defy XT

any others to consider???

I'm thinking my next upgrade is a "Liquipelled" iPhone 5. If only I hadn't ponied up $140 for a Touratech iPhone 4-only motorcycle mount!!!

Wow - thanks for sharing that. I didn't know there were so many options. How about this baby mounted on your bars

OR - a Liquipelled iPad mini?

Apple would lose a lot of repeat sales if they hardened their phones.

It seems a urine proof phone would be the way to go.
