Did anyone else run into the weird guy staring off into the distance? I kinda want to go back and check on him.

Leaving on Monday for for DV. I'll check in on him for you. I'll see if he remembers you.

OK, I'm back from traveling for work. I promise my pics will be up today.

And on the noob, trailering, hardcore bit, I kinda go with gimpypunk on this one: tiny bike is OK to trailer in. I've proved the point with the pig for a number of years. Razr did it with his KLR. However, when you want to act like a total juvenile, it's kinda nice to have the little bike. I've done distance on the little bike and it is not as much fun.

Either way I'll shut up on stupid topics and get to pics here shortly...

OK, here we go.

First night in Panoche Hills:

Admittedly I kinda wussed out and went on down to FC as opposed to staying somewhere on Saline Valley. I did take Trona Wildrose over (which the signs said I shouldn't do). The pea soup of fog at night was pretty amazing, and although I didn't need 4wd from the School Bus, I did need 1st gear quite a bit which surprised me.

It was from here that all the route planning and such I did went out the window. And yes, that was a good thing.

So Friday it was out with Windrat and Treadless for Chloride Cliffs and Titus.

BTW, I may not be all " hardcore" trailering in but, I did swallow a bunch coffee grinds by accident at camp
