Miami - Managua
Hello ADV braintrust.
In the process of planning a one month blast from Miami to Managua, Nicaragua. I know I saw a link here somewhere for temperatures/weather for various times of the year, but can't find it. I mostly concerned with Mexico, since we'll spend most of our time there. Can y'all give me an idea of what kind of temps we'll encounter? probably shoot through Baja then ferry over. Thanks

Miami to Managua via Baja ?????????
Certainly possible but seems a bit convoluted as you spend a great deal of the trip going NORTH 😝 and west Your month will indeed be used up in Mexico which is great😋 |

The routing seemed a bit weird to me.

Weird can be good though.
I once went for a ride to James Bay intending to carry on To Bella Coola and wound up in Cabo San Lucas before starting the homeward leg ![]() Had something to do with dodging frosty nights on the plains |

it's about wanting to see it. we don't have the money/time to spend a lot of time like some folks do on the way down. and we have no desire to spend ANY time in honduras, other than shooting across in several hours to get to Nica.
so the rough plan is 3-4 days from miami to the border. two weeks screwing around in mexico. several days in belize. several in guat. several in salvador and then nica. p.s. the bike will either stay in nica or be shipped back to miami, so it's a one way ride.
