The whole point of the Chinese Fire Drill was to NOT slow down the people behind you.

As opposed to a bunch of fucktards closing down an entire multi-lane freeway.

But you do get extra credit for bringing up the term Chinese Fire Drill. Haven't heard that expression for several decades. Do kids these days even know what that is? Or are they too busy texting?

They're too busy texting Duck!....but who the hell cares! This entire stunt still reeks of disregard for other and their safety. Not the kind of image I hope we would like to make. It still SUCKS!

If a "cager" pulled this kind of stunt and it resulted in the death of an innocent rider.....we'd all be up in arms and indignant; what do you say to that?

Oh, but that's different. It's a Cage! What if it was 100 cages?

Before I started riding I(and the majority of non riders) thought the majority of riders where assholes...based on crap just like this video shows.
Now that I've been riding awhile and been on riding related websites, that assumption has dropped down a few notches but I still see there are a lot of self centered, self entitled asses on two wheels roaming around the highways who could care less about the rest of the population.

Ya'll feel free to speak up if you see yourself described here.

Oh, I was an asshole long before I ever took up riding.

I'd like to think most riders* are basically good people, but I also have no doubt there is a much higher percentage of narcissists than average.

*Owning a motorcycle, and being a rider are 2 different things.

Stopping traffic would have created a backward traveling wave. People an hour later would have been slamming on their brakes because of that event.

Few self centered arses on four wheels as well, actually quite a few that shouldn't be in control of any sort of vehicle!

That was tire smoke.

True, the same can be said for any person on any mode of transportation. But right now we are talking about 100 motorcycles blocking a large highway, not 100 cages or cyclists doing it.

Around here all the highways are near full capacity on weekends if not more(all day long) than weekdays(just a few hours in the AM and PM). Everybody is out shopping on weekends. Most are at work during the day on weekdays.

I don't think I would ever participate in something like this but it looked fairly harmless to me.

Always amazed when anyone posts anything about riding really fast or doing something dangerous on a public road and the avalanche of "someone could have been hurt" posts come barreling in.

Is this a bible study group or a fucking motorcycle forum?

Lighten up Francis indeed.
