Always amazed when anyone posts anything about riding really fast or doing something dangerous on a public road and the avalanche of "someone could have been hurt" posts come barreling in.

Is this a bible study group or a fucking motorcycle forum?

Lighten up Francis indeed.
+1 Some undies are getting seriously knotted here

I think that events like this, while harmless to riders and drivers, are what makes the average American have a bad image of anyone on a motorcycle. Were they being dangerous? No, not really. But, how many people behind them were late for work, late to get home, late to their kids soccer or baseball game, because these assclowns wanted to shut down a freeway? It's why most people become, or at least feel, aggressive to any activists group;. "I don't really give a shit about their cause, and I support their freedom to assemble, so long as they don't get in my way." And these people clearly got in the way. Their lack of respect for everyone else on the road, with a different agenda than their own, is what creates a bad image for anyone in their group. Unfortunately for us, it's everyone on a motorcycle.
Poor taste, in my opinion.

Dakez, keep your trolling to Jo Momma.

This forum is supposed to be about the technical aspects of riding a motorbike.

I see you have another bullshit thread started down the table there.

The only trolling going on here is being done by you Mr. Sands. Go pound it.

Go back to your poster.

Good day, sir.
This is a riders forum. I posted a video and a link to a story about a bunch of motorcycles that made the news. Not only here but in the UK as well.

If you don't like reading about motorcycles or don't like controversy perhaps ADVrider.com is not for you.

I don't know about such things but I am confident you could find some type of peddle-bike forum that might be more agreeable with your pompous, overbearing and controlling nature.

The blocking of freeways has happened several times the last few years. Examples would be Dallas and St. Louis. Sometimes it is for riders to play and stunt, another for showing 'respect' to a rider that crashed and died while riding recklessly. I think that is a silly way to go about it though. In a way it can be harmless, but I also see there is no way this helps the image of motorcyclist; especially sportbike riders. I know most on here would never be involved in something like the video shows, no matter what motorcycle they ride. We can debate all we want but we have to think of the mindsets of the people involved in that video. Simply put, they don't care what other people think. They are only concerned with themselves in that instance.

In a time where we are not willing to wait 2 seconds after the light turns green for the guy in front of us to begin driving, 2 minutes is putting it in the road rage category. Sorry, 2 minutes don't fly on the freeway. Entirely disrespectful, no matter what the reason.

Are you willing to wait two minutes for an assclown parade if your kid/parent/wife is in an ambulance in that traffic jam with heart failure?

Thanks for agreeing with the poor taste (yes, I did read all the posts)
