Heated Seat Pads for Cars
I found a site that has them for cheap (as low as 25 bucks) and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them:
http://cozywinters.com/shop/heated-seat-w9738.html Or knows any other good and cheap brands to check out.

Gerbings makes a duck-blind seat pad - I have one in the hack to keep the monkey's buns warm.

Cheep and not so good. I got about a year off the last two I bought. Even a little cheaper than that, bought on "end of season" sales. But sure nice when they work.
![]() I think the heater elements break eventually, so maybe remove them when not needed, as in not use them as a cushion in the summer. ![]() They'll be on sale soon up here I hope. I'll buy another one.

I just installed some of these in my daughters Element for her birthday present...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber...8b5a95&vxp=mtr Gotta remove the seats, partially disassemble them and do some simple wiring.... but man... they are worth the effort... I know it might be an issue with your wrist problems... but if you know a buddy that installs stereos.. he could probably handle it pretty easily... I think they are even warmer that the factory ones in my car...

I bought some at a local home improvement store when they were on sale for christmas. 8 bucks a piece I think, worth every penny. They have lasted through 2 winters so far, so money well spent at this point.

![]() Nope, on the Passat they are doing pretty strict trim levels. I'd need the SE which was 3-4k more
