Paul,

Any word on fitment for the new 2014 BMW R1200GS Adventure? (Top Case and Panniers)
A buddy is buying one in a few weeks and really likes the Globescout 'Special' set on my GS.

Cheers,
jw

Is there a date yet for when the next shipping container hits the east coast?

I got a trip in early March that the new Globescouts would work out perfect for.

Our order is out on the water and we are still expecting to have it in at the end of the month, however I am just waiting to get an update on the container ship that is on, as it is still showing that it is in port, which may or may not be true.

As we get closer to a delivery date, I will certainly post more updates so everyone will know when we have the order here and ready to ship to their final destinations!

edit; Here is a photo from Globescout when they had everything on pallets on the way to the port

Wow, we have had a TON of requests for the new 2014 GS-Adventure! So here's what we are working on:

As most of you know, the new GS-A has just started showing up at dealers in the last week or so, and as always, BMW has the parts shipping in after the bikes.

We are just really waiting on Globescout to get their hands on a set of the GS-A pannier frames and luggage rack so they can begin taking measurements and creating a new 3D design for the panniers.

Once we have word from Globescout that the new GS-A special set is ready for production, and we have pricing and SKU #'s, we will start taking orders! Hang tight everyone, and we will post all of the details!!

I really like the look and build quality of these Panniers. Is there a solution for the 1190 Adventure that utilizes the "special" bag that has a cutout for the exhaust? I'd really like that symmetrical look found on the 1200GS. If there's no work being done on this, I'd be willing to help. I'm a motivated mechanical engineer with a 1190 ADV-R!

Paul can correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no special setup for a bike other than the R1200GS. There is a kit for the 1190 that has a standard setup though, using the HB racks.

The majority of GlobeScout's attention is to producing what they already make as they sell so well. From the the time I started importing them (a little over a year ago) to when LM purchased the company from me, to when Paul and I talked last, there has always been limited supply despite some very sizable orders for the North American market.

Does anyone have these and if so, what do you think?

I am thinking of picking up a set of these for my BMW800GS and wanted to see if anyone has any real world reviews of these Panniers.

I am currently using soft bags from Wolfman and thinking of replacing them with hard cases.
