So, the idea is to go from 1.6 to 1.28 and save a few gallons of water a day; then continue taking 20 minute showers, watering the lawn, letting the faucet run when you brush your teeth or rinse dishes.............

But then, that is more water for fracking and dryland irrigation, I suppose.

The newer toilets are fantastic at flushing down replicas of those too stupid to keep CS&M stuff in CS&M.

Going from 1.6 to .8 is a substantial savings in water. I also have a 1.5GPM shower head.

Just to give you an idea of why I am thinking of new toilets.
Mine are from the 60's. they are roughly 6 gals a flush.
I put dual flush kits on them, but they seam to be wearing out. New toilet time, and if I am going to go with new ones I might as well go for the lowest usage.

Just a little light for McB......
