Jeebus...some of those scooter forums make me want to stick a knitting needle in my eyes and beat my scooter with a mallet.

The cool ones are in freakin' German or Dutch or whatever those foreigners speak. "Der variator ist kablongen mit 192 kph und gesplong 'Super Frenzy' exhaust system duflingenen 300kw 'Bling'. Ja?" And then there's a great pic of a bike that's apparently capable of a 7 sec 1/4 mile and no way in hell of figuring out how to get the bolt-on goodies here in the US.

If we had an ADVscoot forum here, it wouldn't be a forum...it would be political asylum for folks like us who are running like hell from the Geely people.

The nerds of the 2 wheeled world need a place where they can commune without being harrased by the kewl kids on the big manly bikes.

We could even attract a few of the more adventurous dorks out there that haven't joined because they are terrified by BMW Biker Bizoys.

What say thee? Does ADV need a place for people to relese their inner moto-dork?

The poll is missing one, awfully important option...

Are you high?

Has anyone mentioned how cute skewter chicks are?

Wouldn't we like to see cute skewter chicks in this place - as opposed to the intimidating she-stallions we got stomping all over in here now?

The ScooterBBS used to be pretty good, but it's really gone downhill over the last couple of years. I used to hang around there before I came here, and it was all vintage bikes, and a lot of crazy fuckers. Never as funny as here, but good nonetheless.

Screw all you guys who don't like scooters. There ain't nothing like riding a bike with eight inch tires in a pouring rainstorm.

Someone would have to be an absolute FOOL to buy one of those scoots after they've been hooliganized like that.

Hey, pal, don't blame me. I think scooters are cool. And I'm doing my level best to get us a Scooter Forum here. I've already spent, like, a whole 45 seconds thinking about it.

At least you bought the one that WASN'T crashed during an ill-fated wheelie.

(How is Skewt liking her new scoot?)

Good thing she doesn't have a big bike...she'd be in jail for speeding by now.

She's loving it. I really appreciate y'all helping out with that! I don't think I ever would've gotten her on 2 wheels solo otherwise. Now she's really into it--works on improving her line through corners, really rides well in traffic, and so on. It really gave her a great intro to riding and I think she'll be on 2 wheels well into her 90's as a result.
