PIAA Lights and the 2012 BMW R1200RT
I contacted PIAA and was told that they do not make brackets for the 2012 BMW R1200RT any longer. I own a new PIAA P1100XT Light Set but have no way to attach them to my RT. This light has the overhead attachment bracket application rather than the rear attachment option. Any thoughts?

Go that route. I've got them on my '12RT, significantly cheaper and they work. You will need to add a hex key to your tools set instead of the obligatory torx. Or, go find a torx to replace a SHCS or two.

Thanks to both of you. Twisted Throttle application out of stock (it figures). I'll call tomorrow and if unavailable for a while, go with one of the others. Now if I could just find my Piaa wiring installation instructions...hah.

If you are an accessory whore, get a Centech or whomever, fusebox. It'll come in handy. You can pull switched power off of a front running lamp.
If not, a relay off of same is what I used prior to the fusebox. I think. Too many accessories and mods to know if I did that on this bike or not.
