I've been airing down my tourances for the off-road rides that are more than a little gravel. Around 20# front and rear and the traction is much better, also not as squirrely in the loose stuff.

Week-day ride anyone? Cascade Thumper, you in?

I rode that route on a Sunday a while ago and remarked to myself how much more fun the "secret" route would be without oncoming week-end warrior traffic.

The problem is everytime I try to read - the bottom of the bottle gets in the way

I may go to the mid-range between the tourance and the TKC and try the air down method.
Keep the info on the ride coming so I can plan the "sick" day ( Sorry boss - musta been the tater salad on the 4th?)

At this point I'm in....my work schedule looks free for either Thursday or Friday, and I'll do my best to keep it that way. There is a little run to Hurricane Ridge listed in the calendar section of www.soundrider.com that is supposed to take place on Saturday (or Sunday, if Sat. is a rain-out). I'm interested in that one, too. The weather looks good for both Thursday or Friday, not that the weatherman has a great deal of credibility.

OT:
Everyone knows Batman and Spiderman....does anyone remember the Green Hornet?

Friday ride....eastside works good. I'd rather take the Edmonds/Kingston ferry because it's closest for me. Loggers Landing cafe in Quilcene is a possible meeting spot for those who prefer a westside meeting. What do ya think?
