Just what I need. I'm out rain riding doing product tests all the time. The only part I don't like is taking the gloves off to open the door.
I'll let you know who it works-but not now. There's 25" of snow right now. www.kingoffleece.com rated 5 out of 5 Stars in June 2012 MCN |

Seriously?! $80 for a garage door opener? This $39 opener works fine for me. And you can use the same double-sided tape as that $80 opener to mount it somewhere "hidden" on your bike.

So they take a 15$ garage door opener, a piece of wire and a button...relocate the button outside and then call it a "motorcycle stealth garage door opener" and ask 80$ for it?
Brilliant!

Why the heck not? I bet they sell a ton of em :)
It solves a problem that people with disposable income would rather have solved for them... not really much different than "flash2pass" |

I just put mine in my jacket pocket and I can press the opener through the jacket with my gloves on.

Flash to pass or whatever it is needs to be spliced in. I'll never do that. Seen too many splices fail. Yes, I'm well aware that nobody else EVER had a splice fail and all that. Good enough. Many years as a pro SCUBA diver have proven to me another way. As for the lift-master somehow I've lost two of them. Gonna try another way.

What the hell splicing a wire or two on a bike and scuba diving have in common?!

I just took one of the handheld remotes, wired a Radio Shack switch to the contacts, mounted the unit with velcro, and put the button here (the button by the key):

All good stuff. "Disposable" income is relative.
