Tires

I am running TKC 80 front and K60 Super Scout rear. Very happy with the combo.

K60 on my ADV - Aired down for extended gravel road riding (25 psi or so), very good on the street.

Ktm adv 950

The Karoo2 (not the T) with a Tubliss setup has worked REALLY well for extended runs with tarmac and lots of mixed off-road. 10000+km.

The MT21 is really nice if you don't need alot of distance.

The K60 rules the rear.

I've gone through a couple Pirelli MT16s on the front. I like them a lot. They're a pretty sturdy full knobby and wear better than you think on the road. I got about 4000 miles out of the last one. The knobs are reassuring when you're in the dirt.

REALLY interested in trying this, but not sure about the non-DOT status. 80mph is a pretty low speed rating, not that I spend a lot of time over 80.

What kind of pressures do you like for the rally pro on the front?

The Pirelli Skorpion Rally is my favourite option atm: it's my third one and it's great in both gravel and tarmac.
I concur. Regarding the MT-21, it doesn't hold that well in dirt and is squirmy on pavement if you like to ride aggressively. It's not reliable in the wet either, breaking traction without warning.
