XXXL dual sport or off road helmet

Gents, help appreciated, I need to find a helmet manufacturer that offers probably a 3XL helmet, either motorcross or dual sport. I tried the Shoei Hornet in XXL and it was tight on the forehead and cheeks.

Any help very welcome.

Icon Variant goes to 3xl.

Vega makes helmets up to 5xl but they are low budget, low quality.

Most of HJC helmets go up to XXXL, not sure if they have a dual sport helmet. They do show dirt helmets on their web site.

I too am blessed with an abundance of cranial mass......I wear a XXXL HJC motox style helmet.

I have tried on hundreds of helmets...only one that I could squish my melon into.

I really like Scott 87 OTG Snowcross goggles.

Yes...I know you are using them on the bike, and you probably don't wear glasses. Neither do I, but I still love 'em!

The have extra soft foam around the eye openings, and they have a dual pane lens that never fogs up!

You can get clear, rose, and blue tinted lens. I use the rose tints in the winter on my snowmobile, and the clear lens in the summer on the bike.

They are a super comfortable and fog proof goggle.

I don't know if you can get them in the UK?

AGV AX-8 DS, works really well for us melon heads. I've had two now and really like them. If you look around you can get last years model for $199.

The AFX FX-39 runs pretty large, and is available up to 4XL.

Very nice DS helmet.

Pro Grip 3450 Fits my giant melon just fine. They are light sensitive, and the best anti-fogging goggles I have found yet.

AFX FX-39 is very roomy and its a LONG OVAL lid, not the usual round crap.

They run about a 1/2 size larger than my HJC MX helmet and they fit normal oval heads so you don't have to go extra large to avoid forehead pressure.

Cheap price, nice liner, works with goggles, flows good air, not high quality, but not overly cheap either.

I've bought mine from Atomic Moto, they are a vendor on here.

Check out our Big and Tall Equipment Reference here. Click on "The List" at the bottom of the first post. We have a section for helmets with some going up to 5XL.

2nd on the AFX...I have a 4X noggin and they make a few models, dirt, street, and DS that go that high. I have three. Shop around online to find the best pricing. Some can be had for under $100.
I'd like to be sporting a better quality helmet, but most of the big names don't cater to us big heads. Those that have something the "might" work are very expensive and it's tough to justify tying up $400 at a local store or mail order that you might not be able to get your cash back from if it doesn's fit.
