With all the hamstring and quad injuries so early this year, I think that is most definitely true. Probably is contributing to the other injuries too.

Not just that but not playing in the pre-season.

I remember when the pre-season was for tuning up the team, not setting the bench order.

Myself, I don't buy it. Players get hurt all the time in training camp and pre-season games. I can't see how a reduction would lead to more injuries. They still work out as much as they ever did.

Are there more leg injuries? With all the helmet to helmet talk, more guys are going for the legs. Bye Bye knees..

Not true, the training regimen in summer camp has been cut back from what it used to be. Hell, guys used to show up fat and be ready for the regular season. If they did that now they would be cut, there is not enough training to get into playing shape. Yes, they have OTA's, but those are more skull sessions than anything else. Many coaches are bemoaning the new labor agreement, if they have been around long enough to know the difference.

I'm thinking with Bradford injured, the Rams sucking it up, the world series starting Monday IN STL no less and with such a rabid/large baseball fanbase, MNF might be the least attended game EVER.

It's not going to be an interesting game that's for sure. I wonder about the schedules sometimes. Who thought the Panthers and Bucs would be a good game for a thurs night. I guess pre-season it's hard to know for sure. I don't really see any matchups that look interesting this week. Maybe Chiefs and Browns, Jets vs. Bengals, and maybe Dolphins and Pats. I'm glad I'll be away from the TV.

And Freeman is out for the Vikings. Concussion. That kid can not catch a break.

I'm thinking Coach Frazier can't catch a break.

Look at it this way. They've shown that even when they have a bad day they can win.

They should get by the Browns and the Bills. It's that Broncos, Chargers, Broncos series that's going to be a real challenge.

That kid sucks. At least the Vikings caught a break with him not playing. Seriously, I realize he doesnt know the playbook that well, but some of those passes were horrible. This is the NFL and there's no excuse for that.
