I wanted to share a special build with you guys, here's a little back story...

My mom and I were talking about my metal builds and how she thought I should take some of them to show my Grandfather (he was a welder). During this conversation I told my mom I'd like to build him a Wheel Horse lawn tractor. He always had a Wheel Horse....or 3, normally broken down on the farm. I remember him tinkering with them all the time when I was younger. He absolutely loved them. He passed away on Saturday. I was able to show him a couple of my bikes I had built the weekend before. This build is for him. He would have loved it. It will be on display at his showing, then given to my mom.

You've got talent, and Grandpa is proud of you. Remembering him as you do, he will never be forgotten.

These are what I call "Boogies". The one standing over the bike has been sold already. I have found that kids get a kick out of these (my 3 yr old judges all my work).

These are what I call "Hoots". Perfect for that kids room all done up in owls (or am I the only one?). Notice their heart shaped feet?

Both of the "Boogies" have sold.

However, I do happen to have a new Boogie giving a piggyback ride to a baby Boogie. These are what I work on when I'm stuck figuring out how to do something on a bike build.

Speaking of bike builds, I have a Triumph Tiger 800xc that I'm building for an inmate that is almost complete. Can't wait to show you guys...it's pretty cool. Definitely the most challenging build I've had so far.

Any thoughts on when you will start the GS-adventure?

It's coming. I'm finishing up the Triumph this week and as soon as I ship it out I'm going to begin the GS-Adventure. I'm debating if I'll build 2 or 3 GS-Adventures, you and Texas Aggie are interested so I'll probably build 3 so if you guys both want 1 I will have an extra for any "late arrivals".

Damn! I thought that was Master-Blaster from ThunderDome!
