Identify this Shoei DS helmet

I ran across this randomly and it caught my attention. I have a Shoei Hornet and that's a few years old and it doesn't look like this...nor do the current ones at the shop.

The vents and adjustable visor look like improvements to me, but this post is a couple of years old.

Scroll down a bit to the actual images of the lid.

The peak shape at the tip is different profile; the top connection screw is exposed; there are two additional chimney vents; there are only 2 rows of venting in the mouth vent (3 on the current Hornet).

Not sure about older models, but I think the peak looks longer (a good thing), but it might not be as aero (may be bad if you ride a lot of highspeed miles).

As I suspected, though I think the older one has better lines. I have the newer one, but it's seen better days. Thanks.

Yeah I was going off the lines off the chinbar.. I got rid of my Hornet because the peak was totally useless..went to the XD4 and dont regret it.
