Acer Chromebook

On the spur of the moment, based on some reviews that I had read, I stopped at Best Buy and bought an Acer Chromebook yesterday. Based on a few hours of use, I am thinking that this may become one of my main computing devices. I use my power desktop for serious work, and my laptops have been used mainly for web browsing. So I bought the Chromebook primarily for browsing, although I specifically bought the Acer for the larger number of ports and the hard drive, over the Samsung. I am thinking about using this for work and showing my presentations off of it.

The Chromebook is light weight, has a decent screen, and seems pretty zippy. The sound quality is terrible, so you have to use headphones. The keyboard is nice. There seem to be a lot of useful apps in the Chrome store, and I can even use Citrix to connect to my network at work.

I figured that for $ 200, I probably can't go too far wrong in playing around with it, and I will be interested to see how well it works for me.

Can you connect say a SD card reader to it (or does it have one?) and copy digital photos to the hard drive?

It has a built-in SD/MMC card reader on the left front edge. It also has three USB ports to connect a card reader.
