Purchased right where it landed! Owner must have stuck a "For Sale" sign on it and limped away.

Good one guys unless I'm out woods riding I don't park in the trees, and yes I did limp away AND bought the sad wreckage back from the insurance to restore. I'll post after pictures soon I'm just waiting on my seat and spots and she's ridable. I may post the details in faceplant, I didn't do it here because I din't want to hijack the thread with a long story.

Is it home yet then Dave? and if so, are you happy, sad, or overwhelmed by your new project?

Hi Kev.
Na it's in the country though (Kent) getting processed. SHOULD have it within the week or so I would assume. To be honest it's maybe a good thing because my hands are full just now preparing the rest of the shite I own for the coming season. Lookin' forward to gettin it in the garage though.

Right, Sorry for the delay.
I was watching the nippers last night so had little time to look at the bike and i'm now just home from work.
I must say its no worse or better than I expected condition wise however
I LOVE IT!!!!!
There are a few potential issues i've noticed however i'll go into that later once i've had a good look. Will try also to get a few pics up later!!

Ciao for now peeps

Hey guys and girls, from the land of OZ, I have a VERY sweet V7 Sport,(1973). Unfortunately I can't seem to come to grips with setup of the 4LS front brake. (We have WOMBATS here, and brakes are kind of handy....)
I believe the later models into the U.S. had an option of a twin disc front end. I could do with that lot, so's I can ride my sweet Ruby on a more regular basis.
So. If anyone might happen to come across a disco front end to suit, I'd love to hear....

Hi guys,
Spent a few hours cleaning today. Figure i'm better having the whole show as clean as possible before starting work in anger. What I have noticed is that we have compression and that the engine spins freely. The clutch works also and the gearbox fully selects. More in due course.
