Geir, thought I recognised the crossing from the SibEx thread.

Hey Vasar. Absolute respect to you for doing this solo. Unfeasibly large testicles Sir.

At least for the time being...we're all keyboard adventurers and your prisoners. Now that you seem to have everyone's attention...bring it on.

Just would like to add to this story.
The murderers tried to burn the body by a lot amount of the used car tyres (the smoke was seen in the village over the time of the day or two days).
On the place of burning, the bikers found out among ashes the HEART. From Scutt's body there was only the heart. The biker (his name shultz, by profession he is the doctor's assistant) who first found out in the forest this place, sad - "I saw a lot in my life, but this amazed me ".

Can you tell us about your Transalp, did you have many problems or make many modifications for the trip?

Cheers

My TA year 1996 and 136000 km on odometer now. I bought it used bike from Germany. I had a one serious problem, when I broke my rear shocks confirmation. It happened in Kazahstan 2010, TA is very strong when not driving too fast, by BAM Road engine was full of water and worked, nothing bad happened. I have not made any changes, all the works from the beginning.

I fixed it twice, because the first was a poor welder. Now it has been extended over the some difficult hikes.

Love the report and hope to make a similar travel one day, but then on a jawa 638 or so..
Do you need to carry extra fuel to overcome the distances between fuel stations?

I imagine 17-20 liter is sufficient for the trip. F650 has fare well with factory tank.
