We rescued one about 35 years ago from a farmers paddock he had just left it and it hair was all tangled and its hoofs had grown real long and curled up, He said just take it before i shoot it ,, My sister cleaned it up and we filed it hoofs down it looked real nice , we fattened it up ,, Then one day, months later i was feedin it from a bucket and it lifted it head and sunk its teeth into my chest and wouldnt let go , It was as mean as cats piss , Always wary of Shetland ponys

Thanks for this post. I always travel with my dog, Pugsley as my pillion buddy. Amazing how many adventures we've had, and the joy he has added to my travels.

A few years ago in Montana, Pugsley chased a couple of wild horses near Dryhead, then they turned around and started chasing him. He walked out into a lake and stood there until I rescued him. He no longer bothers horses.

Classic bloody shot, wish I had more photos of my old hound that used travel with me in the outfit,

Gonzo - Airedale/Labardor cross, 35kg of pure laughter, funniest dog I've ever known!!
Love the interaction between species, if more people could learn lessons from social behaviour between animals, the world would be a better place
Cheers
Baza

Couldn't afford a 'GSA', so now it's an 'XSA' "I didn't do it! & whoever said I did, is a liar!"
