The way that's set up, there's really no good way to keep the wires from being pinched or chafed. I'd drill holes on the inboard side of the rails on both the fixed and moving portions (assuming the frame rails are fully boxed) and route the wires through the new holes, using grommets at the holes and covering the wires with flexible conduit or heavy-gauge heatshrink. If the rails are open channel, then just put the wires in flexible conduit and secure the conduit to the rails at both ends to keep it from flopping around.
