2013 Baseball...
I like the Cubs this year.
![]() I gotta go to Wrigley one more time before they re-model. I'm from the old school and love it like it is.

I need to get to Wrigley too. Is there a firm schedule for the re-model? |

After this season, I think.
I'll miss Tony Campana.

I bet Tony Campana leads the league in stolen bases if the Diamondbacks play him.
That guy is a BLAST to watch.

Well, pitching should be fairly decent from the Ranger's this year, but they have lost a lot of offensive production. Shouldn't be a bad year, but I am not holding out for a World Series run until I see a few spring training games
![]() Oh, apparently MLB has already charged my CC for MLB.tv. Can't watch the Rangers or Astros due to blackout restrictions, but thankfully there are a lot of other teams I enjoy watching as well. Here's to a great season

Heck, yea....
I don't understand how the morons figure the blackouts. But I do remember some weird issues last year with TBS / Cubs. I'm at the bottom of the State, on the Ohio River and it's WAY closer to St Louis. Whatever...

Well, for me if I am in Texas then I get blacked out of Texas games. Nevermind that in El Paso you are the same distance to LA teams as you are to Houston!

A lot of people were actually very surprised when Boeing moved to Chicago a few years ago. Their final choice was between the DFW area and Chicago. They claimed they chose Chicago based on the shorter flight times to the north east, which I get (lobbiest in DC, more flight options to Europe, etc). Seems like over time the taxes would be much greater up there though ![]() And yes, Astros are in the same division as the Rangers now. Seems odd, but good as well. I think they are trying to create some kind of rivalry like other states have with local teams. |

My poor Astros are indeed in the AL this year, but hell it can't be any worse than the last 3 years.
![]() I'm a transplanted Texan, been living in the Memphis area for 18 years. I miss going to the 'dome. I've been back to Houston for a couple of games at Minute Maid Park but I just miss going to 20 or 30 games a year like I did back in the 80s. It is going to be strange playing in the AL from now on........ Good Luck guys! GO ASTROS!!!!!!!!!!!
