I joined today,this is my first post..
I took my white Krauser bags to a restoration guy but hes not sure what he can do, is there anyone selling white ones? Also I need the Krauser tailite extention that was needed if the (factory option) Krauser bags were used. I'm going to need a right mirror, White paint code for Motorsport . I think the little rivet things are lost,(I have a new windsheildin the box) that attaches the windsheil on the bike. This bike sat in garage and/or backyard for over 20 years , but I'd like to ride it again,so I'll probably need more stuff than I realize. This bike still has the recalled wheels,but they had no cracks so I left them on. Where is a good part source ? I'm in Calgary. I checked out "Bobs " in US, but ne doesnt have much I need Neil |

Hi;
There is Anderwerks in Calgary and also check Beemer Boneyard for parts. As to the Krauser extension you refer to, I don't recall anything like that at all. The taillight always stayed in it's original position. Go to the Old's Cool Airhead section on the main page. That's where you will find a ton of info on the Airheads. Cheers

Yeah the 1978 R100RS motorsport had white Krauser bags as stock. I'd post a photo of the broken tailite extentions but I'm new and cant post yet . |

Motobins in England has lots of stuff.
When I order from them, I frequently get faster delivery than from the US. You don't pay the VAT price if they ship to Canada. They also ship by Post Office. |

You might try the ibmwr site in the airhead parts wanted section.. Have had some success finding parts there.. As well I just reconnected with a fellow in CA who has The Parts Haus who breaks BMWs and may have some parts. There are others.. Pm me if you would like more info.

Maybe try putting this in 'Old's Cool'. Just down the road from this forum - lots of guys there hang out in the 'Airheads' section - very helpful and friendly.
