Speaking of RoadRash, it's not a good sign when your "down" thread is getting to be as long as his "Hey RoadRash" thread!

Good luck, buddy.

Too true.
When I get back to work let's get together, I'll buy lunch. We can go across the street to Anthony's.

Good News!
After exactly 4 weeks from the surgery I can forgo the crutches at home as long as I wear the frickin' boot and don't overdo it! I still need them if I go out but things are looking brighter!
Gums came over and helped me decorate said boot. My PTist loved it even though I'm sure she didn't have a clue what they are.

Rufus didn't tenderize Gums or nuthin', Good Boy!

I'm in Bellingham (when I worked).
Off the crutches, out of the boot as much as I can stand it. WooHoo!
Back to work next Monday w/reduced hrs for a few weeks. So, I've got that going for me.
Doc said 4 to 6 months for the swelling and soreness to go away. Tomorrow I've got to go shoe shopping for something with a low heel. No Crocs, don't worry. Maybe some Birkenstocks?

Working short days with a cane! A gold cane. Is there a sword in there or not? Hopefully you will never have to find out. I always wanted a gold cane.
Things are going great, thanks for all the positive thoughts! The nice ladies at PT are routinely kicking my ass, so I've got that going for me.
