It sure sucks riding back to the rig! Luckily my riding buddies loaded up my bike on the hitch carrier while I tried to decide which hospital I wanted to wait at.

I sure hope you are feeling better. I am today!

I guess I will probably not be riding the D100 this year.
Sorry to hear about your injury, wishing you a full and speedy recovery as well. Good luck with the D100 also.

My foot does not look as nasty as yours. I just scored an appointment to see a foot specialist on Wednesday. I am hoping he will ask me why I am wasting his time when I get there.

It sure is getting old sitting around the house with my foot in the air thinking of all the things I could be doing while at home.

Keep us informed.
After waiting a week for the OK from L & I to get a CT scan, I made a few phone calls. I got the OK from my claims lady and she called the Dr with the OK. The dr's office called me and asked when I could get to the imaging place, I was out of there by 4:00 pm yesterday. Now I'm waiting for results from the doc and hopefully they can do something about my pain. I seem to have the pain threshold of a three year old.
There seems to be some disconnect in the system between "really really fucked up", "fucked up just a little", and "they all do that". Being fucked up just a little must of slipped me into the "they all do that" enevlope.
Once I made my situation known L & I responded immediately.

Mike! Sorry to hear this man. I hope you pull through and are able to ride this spring yet. Did this occur at that one place?

Great news from the CT scan, nor surgery needed.
So, I got that going for me.

Mike, thanks for the call yesterday, I enjoyed it. Hopefully my drug induced ramblings weren't too incoherent. Jeebus Scotty, beam me up!

2 or 3 months, so sayeth the Dr. So, that's like April 1st, right? Should have got that electric start option, hmmmmmm.
Wifey's gonna kill me.

Good news on the no surgery option.

I'll make you a deal. You can ride the GG but when you come back you have to swap out all the new stuff from the box of sweetness. And any other stuff I've been able to squirrel away until then. I'll even let you borrow my pressure washer.

Hi Tom,
I'm sitting here w/o crutches and in a pair of lace up boots for the first time in a while! WooHoo.
Hopefully I'll be back at work full time next week at some reduced capacity of my reduced capacity.
Wifey has come through this (so far) without beaning me once. I know she's wanted to a few times.
The GG is like riding butter, oh so smooth.
