I would love to blame the bad fuel injection for my mishap, but really it was just a case of not having my wrist flat enough, so when I bounced over the transition into the driveway the throttle got away from me. I wasn't 100% focused, and that's what happens when you get lazy about how powerful and unpredictable a moto can be.
The bike is looks fine, apart from some major scratches in the windscreen. I was planning on pulling that off and painting it anyway, but I have a lot more motivation now. My XD3 took a good knock, but it's 5 years old now, so I don't feel terrible about having to replace it. I haven't had a chance to ride the bike because of this: ![]() The front wheel and bars look straight, I'll take it for a little spin tomorrow and see how it rides. Always. I'm happier when the photo is someone else standing on their dick, but when it's your turn you have to just go with it. Quote:

Funny thing... Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday when I got home I pulled up behind the car, which is stupid, because then I have to back down again and line up to the left of the car (you can see the car's tail lights through the 'ventilation' I've added to the door). When I pulled up Thursday I was thinking about how I had taken the wrong line 3 days in a row, so I changed my line to the left just before going up over the curb. Good thing I did, or things would have been a bit worse.
