Pro Moto Billet Spark Arrestors

This might seem like kind of a strange question, but does the Pro Moto Billet Spark Arrestor end cap fit a majority years/makes/models with stock (OEM) mufflers [i.e. its really universal] ? Looking to pick up one for my 04 RM250Z (4 stroke) and was curious if I could save a few bucks if I could find one used off of a different bike than my own. Thanks!

I've had PMB sparky's on a few bikes and while they are very similar, they are not universal. The rmz version looked a lot like the crf version, but the holes did not line up, I don't remember if they were the same size?

I actually had one on an 04 rmz250 that I sold last year:

I think you might have better luck fitting an entire muffler from another bike vs just the end cap. Muffler shops can make you a mid pipe (usually costs ~6 pack of adult beverage) to get just about anything to match up... we did that to an xr650r with an FMF powercore that a friend gave us (nobody knew what it came from.) I see a lot of Honda 250/450x factory S/A mufflers being swapped out for aftermarket so you should be able to pick up something similar for next to nothing.

...or you could just buy the correct PMB unit
