Test rode a T100 today

And found it to be a wonderful motorcycle. Really nice power, torquey and very acceptable acceleration up to freeway speeds. Even with the quiet pipes it the sound is excellent. It sounds like a Triumph. The transmission was as nice as any I've ever seen. Took it up in the twisties at altitude too to see how she did and was delighted with how agile it feels. It does not feel like a 500 lb bike in the corners, really reminded me of my old SR500. There was not one area of the bike that disappointed me.

So I bought a 2012 Scrambler in matte khaki green.

It's coming up to Reno from my dealer's Vegas store so it's still a few days out. I'm jacked.

Thanks, but I got to take some newer pictures as my Bonnie has evolved just a bit. I have fitted the solo seat and rack from a Scrambler, Ohlins 36E shocks and just for show, the chrome valve covers. I have also taken off the Triumph Tank Bag as it prevented me from gazing at that beautiful tank while riding. I only fit it now if I am taking an extended trip. That has taken some getting use to as I have always been a tank bag guy. You know it is like a man purse, it is where you put your stuff. LOL

As others have mentioned the Bonnie is an attention getter and conversation starter where ever you go.

Im super jealous. I looked for a Scrambler on the used market for about 6 months when I stumbled onto a Speed Triple I COULD NOT pass up. So now I have a Speed Triple and love it but I still want a Scambler/Bonneville!!

So post up them pics, man!

I'm going to guess not so good or the bike wouldn't be lying on it's side.

sounds like it didn't have anything to do with the tires.

I really like Anakee's but because my GS has a lot of clearance, I hit the sidewalls a bit

My 03 Bonneville with a cheap set of Emgo pipes on it at 75-80mph makes music that no true motorcyclist can deny. Its just plain magic. I've also got a C-10 Connie and a R1150RT and the Bonney is my favorite.
