If Gerst has the exact stand mount that is on my bike, then it IS a SW Motech mount. Cheers

Cool, thats what it looked like to me. I have the SW-Motech, but the bracket is screwed. I'll be in the garage shortly, and need to compare your pics and description to what I have going on and see what I can make of it!

[QUOTE=T3/T4 Hybrid;20521364]Hello, I'm a new to me KTM owner. I purchased a 2000 640 LC4 in Dec of 2012 and was hoping someone here could direct me to where I could purchase a decal for my gas tank.
t3: You can look up parts online at most any KTM shop. Looks like the orange panels are complete with graphics. It says '98, but the P/L came off a Y2K. L/S: 5840805000004 R/S: 5840805100004

BST Carb Parts
Howdy inmates quick question for the enlightened among us.
I need to replace some rubber bits in my BST40 carby but the numbers in the KTM fiche are # or not listed. What other bikes came with these from the factory? I know I can order from Sudco but I've gotta get some other OEM parts and wanted to keep it to a single order (Less suspicion from the special lady).

KTM sells a complete rebuild kit, if not there is a BST40 thread and one of the inmates sells parts and give free advice, do a google search.

Yes, Motolab. Derek is a great guy! What he sells are factory OEM, from Mikuni, without the KTM mark up!

Fan rotation?
Anyone know off hand if the fan should draw air through the radiator, thus pushing hot air through the tank/spoilers onto the riders left leg? Seems that was how it was on my SMC but the point on this SXC didn't do such a good wiring job and it has come loose.
Should the fan blow onto the rad or pull air through it? Yes, I did a quick search, no I didn't find the answer. Best I can do with non factory wiring and the service manual is for it to pull air through. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rad fans pull air through the rad.
Cheers

I second the pulling through the rad. The fan blows the air in the direction that air is supposed to go when the bike/car is moving. For example, all the normal bikes should pull air through the rads. Honda's VTR 1000, SP1, Varadero, VFR 800 etc with the rad on the side are different because the way the rads work (airflow is different). These fans push air onto the rad. You get the idea ...

Now I think about it if you put the fan on the front of the rad it should push air through the rad...
