Nice looking bike. Stock bars were steel. Looks like the frame has been cut, front end is tucked in. Was the correct mod besides cutting out the down tubes on the frame. Looks like a keeper. Wish I could find my last one! (Or at least the frame).

Talking thanks

The Solid alum. bars are a factory Option, the frame is stock I just raised the tubes in the top triple tree 5/8 in as suggested in my factory manual. I own a parts motor and been thinking about taking it and punching it out to a 305. Shes a fun old bike to ride! when I sold it the first time it was all sunrise Red. the frame should be gun metal gray and when winter rolls around again I will paint it correct, or close anyway..
Ya cant tell about me I build choppers it could be flamed and muraled!!
need to order me some new shocks but the old ones are in good shape.
Im glad you liked it.

Nice bike. Looks like ODI Mushroom grips. I've only ever seen those on BMX bikes.

We are down a little bit from what my mother "exclaimed" as she visually inventoried the 29 miscellaneous cycles, plus 7 watercraft. LOL.

We had a pair and a parts basket, But, we sold the 2 honda tl250's and all the spare parts, just about 6 months ago. OF course mother was not happy that these 2 were replaced by at least 3 yamahas...

We did do the mod to steepen the rake on ours, and damn, it sure changed the bike to more modern turning, at least a little. We still have 2 125's, one is bone stock, the other has had a lot of "improvements" you cannot believe it is a 125. But it still is a heavy dang pig, lol, riding these take your breath away, the old fasion way (works your ass off)
