Anyone keen to come to Birmingham Alabama?

Take a bit of time to have a look at this link and see if it doesn't make you want to go to Birmingham Alabama on your next holiday!

They have a vintage festival in October which looks great.

One day.

Was there in 2008 my wife went to new york and I opted to go to Barber meseum, at the time I wasn't in the good books.....but you know what. It was well worth it, I spent 2 days at Barber and 2 days drinking moonshine in some hillbilly town. I would go back in a heartbeat. A must for anyhting with a two wheel pulse

Thank you Marc for the heads up.

I was aware of the Barber museum, and after listing to Doonie rave about it, it just falls into place. I intend to be there for the Vintage rally in Oct (11/12/13) this year, you can camp on the site!

Works in perfectly, the riding season will be on its last legs in Canada by then, and my aim is to swing south/east back in to America following the Civil War battles down to the South, hopefully beating the oncoming winter.

I intend to arrive in early July in Alberta, starting with the BMW MOA rally in Oregon, on, would you believe a Ural 2wd outfit!!

Where would you like to join me?
