Smell something?

Not that i don't have better things to do, but tuning my 90 has been one interesting venture with very nice information contributions from quite a few ADV fellows and interesting results!

Yet recently when was inpecting the rear wheel and chain slack after a ride, my nose got close to the exhaust cans (AK) and "whoa... easy, thats hot!". Nothing unusual on a 9x0, but then sniffed the end of both cans and the RH one was clearly hotter and smelled exhaust gas much more than the LH one. Thought it could be related to incorrect mapping, loaded another map, went for a ride and the result was the same. RH can much hotter than LH.

For those that have 2 aftermarket cans on your 990, have you noticed the same?

Yes, have noticed the same with stock and modified maps running Wings. Maybe something to do with the length of header / collector and not map related?

Thats kinda relief.

Still intriguing as in fact the front header is alot longer than the rear one but theres a connection between them just before the cans, i'd assume the cross feed of exhaust would be higher.
