Go L'ville!

(The only time I root for Duke is when they play UNC.)

for Louisville.

I want WSU to win next weekend, but Louisville is really, really good. I hope it isn't a blowout.

My bracket wants Louisville to win. (and I think they probably will)

But Jurgen is full on the Shocker bandwagon.

18

Final Four is 1 #1 plus 2 #4's and a #9= 1+4+4+9= 18.

Is that the highest number ever for a Final Four?

Sure UMich used to care about football, but so did Princeton.

Ouch...

Was watching hockey, but saw the replay. Hope he heals well. (And doesn't get that peeing problem that Joe got.) That has to be a very rare type of injury in basketball. I just saw a piece on Lattimore the other day and was blown away by what he is doing already after seeing his leg go all floppy last fall. The doctors must just be fabulous today compared to 10 years ago. I would have sworn that he was not going to run again(at a competitive level)...much less drag a stone boat. Hope this young lad has the same experience.

Numbers of "National Championships."

I put "NC" in quotes since no one, ever, has won a NCAA D1 Football National Championship.

Ahh, note my Princeton reference.

...and of course, I was just poking the B1G anyway.

I'm not sure that winning a 64 team single elimination tournament is any more legitimate than a national poll. It's definitive, no arguing about the results, but doesn't necessarily determine the best team.

That's why I refer to Florida's so called NC's as Football Mythical National Championships and Basketball NCAA Tournament championships
