The Golden tires are interesting . Front looks just like a dunlop and the rear a maxxis . but they are suppose to be pretty good.

This is a great thread. I can't remember what year mine was, but it was an orange one. And I never won an expert main with it, but I did doze out a short track here on the farm and had a lot of fun with it.

We'll have to see how well it handles like this. Running out of time for this season. I'll probably hold off until next winter and do eveything I'd like to do now...

Nice Jeff!! My TT is not going to be as nice as the DT1. I want to ride this one and not worry about getting roosted! The track in Airway Heights is a very sandy cushion. Like riding in a media blast booth.

The Mitas Flattrack tire is a very good tire. Google them . AMA # 12 brad Baker has been riding on them . They are being raced on in Europe and here in the states.
What track are you going to be riding on when you finish the 500 ? Let Me know and I will hook you up on what tire to use. I won"t bullshit you , I know what tire works best on most tracks nation wide .

If you are racing a cushion then a Mitas is the best tire made. Next would be a cut Maxxis or Goodyear ...

Just have fun.
BTW Cushion tracks are the reason there are no spectators/money/future in flat track racing.
Quads, training wheels etc .....
