I have provided the latitude and longitude of the campground entrance in 2 different formats; degrees and decimal minutes, and decimal degrees. The third option, not given, would be; degrees, minutes, seconds.

46 58'.431N 121 05'.702W is degrees and decimal minutes.

46.97390N 121.09504W is decimal degrees.

They are the same point, just different ways of expressing it. I gave two versions in case different GPS units require them. Look at your GPS display to determine which you need.

Thumpers meeting at 8AM at Burger King on Sunset in Renton.

I will be driving the Ranger with my "camping box" containting a 2 burner stove, extra fuel, basins to wash dishes in, maybe a small pot (no good cookwear). I will also bring a 5gal bottle of H2O. Stocked tool box, fire extiguisher, DRZ and maybe an XR250L. I will be bringing one tent (2man) I am not totaly opposed to sharing the tent if nessacary (I have good earpugs).

I sure wish I'd stepped up for the air conditioning option on my BMW. So far work is being kind and it looks like I'm on schedule to make the trip. I won't be camping, however. I got the last room as WJ.

I went through the trouble (it wasn't much) of putting together a Garmin GPS file that has all the important POI for this trip! I also did up the routes that the Thumper guys are driving down and the Route that the GSs will be taking.

Just download it and open in with your "mapsource" program. If you only have the basemap this will atleast give you the POIs
