The k1600 final drive design does not have that hole in the middle like the FD used on the R1200 boxers. So the design is not identical. I just wish they did away with that hole; one less seal that has been known to leak on R1200 bikes.

I haven't seen any reported k1600 FD leaks from owners on the k1600forum, but plenty of leaky water pumps, even on the newest 2013 models.

R1200GT 2013/2014 Spy Shots

Have not spent time to research the source and did a quick search here on adv and see nothing on the topic. Does this look legit? After watching the vid, looks more like an RT replacement with the new water cooled 1200 motor.

Yep, Those are RT's. I expected to see some photos before long. That should be an awesome machine. Thanks for posting!

Looks VERY finnished and ready for production. I'm guessing we'll see an official release rather soon.
Recently I've been eyeing the 1300GT, FJR, even current RT and the 1600GT.
This new RT starts to look very interesting, might have to see pricing and availability on this.

+1 on "leak," but I'd be surprised if it was released as a "GT." BMW has seemed pretty devoted to the "RT" designation on boxer tourers.

It's definitely an RT. they're not about to abandon that monicker especially on a touring bike using a boxer engine.

I like the look with the squigly lines. In this picture I don't like the look of the headlight area. Makes my 2010 RT look good.

That's really an educated guess concept, and obviously different from the test bikes.

Clocks look nice and clear. I'm looking forward to a go as i'm still convinced the RT was the best bike i got rid of.

All New 2014 LIQUID COOLED BMW RT

I have searched to see if this video has been posted before and could not find it. Since I started the thread on the GS LC 1.2 million visits ago, I figure it is my prerrogative to post this one on the RT LC.
To what extent this is a true spy video or a company leak, I cannot say, but I suspect the latter.

A covert leak is what I think.... but the video poster doesn't know the difference between an RT and a GT... bmw has never used GT on a boxer. Moved and merged.
